Science in the News
Procedure:
- Find articles in newspapers, approved websites (a list of these will be provided by your science teacher), and/or current magazines relating to Earth Science.
- Read the complete article.
- Cut out the article or print the article. If the article is from the newspaper or a magazine, the complete title of the source and the date must be included with the article. If the article is printed from a website, it must include the source information and date of the article.
- Complete an article summary sheet for each article.
Article Requirements:
- Must be a main article, NOT a news brief
- Article must be from an approved source
- May not be from the weather page
- Must include articles from three different Earth Science topics (Planetary Science, Weather, Earth’s Crust, Water)
